Homemade gifts can be something as simple as a photo gift. They can be inexpensive as making cookies, or they can be an elaborate more expensive gift basket filled with goodies or a crocheted blanket you’ve been working on for weeks. There are great homemade gift ideas for those that have never crafted anything before as well as ideas for more creative souls. The whole point behind a homemade gift is the time and energy you put into it to create something from the heart for a loved one.
There is a big misconception that you need to be creative to make homemade gifts and that simply isn’t true. I don’t think I have a creative bone in my body. My mother was a teacher and to this day creates some amazing holiday crafts and gifts. I definitely did not inherit that gene.
